2009 has been a very exciting and successful year for the
Inland Valley Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®.
I would like to close the year giving my thanks for such a memorable year, as your President, to the greatest board and team ever.
Yvonne Torres will be taking the reins as your new President in 2010.
She will do a great job, I have no doubt, simply by continuing her dedication and loyalty to WCR which she has shown since joining this chapter as one of our founding members. Her leadership skills are boundless.
Membership did an amazing job for a supposedly “down” economy.
We progressed from a small chapter to a medium size chapter this past year.
Our Members realized the value of great educational programs in a strong networking environment, thanks to Yvonne Leonard my Vice President of Membership and her amazing team.
We are happy to announce that Yvonne Leonard is returning to our chapter in 2010 as the President Elect for 2011.
And while we are talking about membership, please let me remind you to be sure to renew your Inland Empire Women’s Council of REALTORS® membership right away for 2010.
Lily Wasluskas and Mya Magleby will be returning to their last year positions of Treasurer and Secretary respectively in 2010. They both did phenomenal jobs for me and Yvonne is lucky to have them as part of her team this coming New Year.
I won’t steal Yvonne Torres’ thunder by letting you know all the great plans she has in store for you this coming New Year. I will let her do that soon.
And as much as I would like to continue thanking individuals for making my year so special this article would be way too long. Because there were just so many of you that helped all year. Please know, that I know your names and I am grateful.
I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart.
As for all the entire membership, I wish you a wonderful Holiday Season and a Prosperous New Year.
